Wall..Mirror...Screen

A friend told me that all the walls around you could be just "mirrors".

You try to escape from the eyes of everyone around you to shield yourself from their insights, voices, and your reflections in their eyes; however, you become a prey for the reflection of yourself by yourself... the walls... walls!

WALL... LLLLLL...

They are more than these strong constructions that trapped you inside... they are watching you...

                 witnessing you...

                                  from the inside... and outside...

                             walls...

                                     walls

They can reflect your identity... the papers you stick on the wall, the notes, the photos... they are reflecting what you hide in the conscious... however... the mirror!

What's the MIRROR?

                                   OOOOOOOOOOOOOO

                                                            ......RRRRRRRRR.......

                               OOOO...

A mirror has a magical impact: it can not only reflect what is outside but also what is inside. Loreena McKennitt once used the impact of the mirror to create the cover of her remarkable "The Mask and Mirror". She uses her reflection while gazing at the mirror to reflect symbols of the concepts she uses in her album, as if she is reflecting what is inside her mind... her conscious... unconscious... subconscious... asserting, "What's the mask, and what's the mirror?" Here, I am not concerned with what's the mask... but I only care for the mirror?! Mirror... or mirror balls... this impact of reversing the image to the opposite... is it a mirror ball? Is it a screen? the screen? It is a reflection... but it is a liar... The wall or the mirror reflects... just reflects what exists... However, the screen... it reflects what you create... what you want to show... and... tell... and REFLECT... REFLEX... so, the SCREEN BEHIND THE MIRROR...

Coffee Corner is an open space. A window. A soft place. It’s for you. Those whose minds won’t quiet down, whose thoughts are loud, growing louder. These pieces are not answers, they are mirrors.

They are breath. They are the still voice in the room when the world won’t stop spinning. I write these words not from a pedestal, but from the same place you are.

Awake, wondering, remembering. If you’re here, then these thoughts are for you.
